About Middle Lake


Middle Lake belongs to the Rural Municipality (RM) of Three Lakes, which is in the Parkland Belt of Saskatchewan. The Village is located approximately 45 kilometres (kms) north of Humboldt, Saskatchewan along Highway #20.


Middle Lake was named for its nearby Middle Lake, the smallest of three lakes in a line.

Economic Information

Middle Lake boasts an incredible population boom in the last decade, with a growth rate of 20%! This has brought Middle Lake's population up from a low of 250 in 1994 to its current 300. This thriving community is served by 28 businesses, and has public services such as a K-12 school, a nursing home, regular medical clinics, a multiplex, and a post office. For recreation residents have a skating rink, ball diamonds, bowling alley, a gym, a community centre, a Miniature Golf Course, driving range and the nearby Lucien Lake.

Volunteer and Service Organizations

There are also many volunteer and service organizations that surround Middle Lake including the Catholic Women's League, Community Hall Board, Knights of Columbus, Lions Club, Lucien Lake Regional Park Board, Bethany Pioneer Village Ladies Auxiliary Recreation Board, Three Lakes Fire Department, 4-H Club, and Faith Lutheran Ladies Aid.

Church Facilities

Middle Lake is home to three different church facilities. The Canadian Martyrs Parish, Faith Lutheran Church, and the Middle Lake Gospel Church.
